This is an excellent example of the conversion to the "Sam Brown" style in the late 1930's, one of the best we have ever seen. Strong stitching and clear proofs and dating. This example of the later variation of the holster provided for the 1928 M.11 contract Dutch East Indies Army Luger was made in the Dutch East Indies. This very rare example is offered for $2.500.00   (AC145)   Any questions to josef@phoenixinvestmentarms.com

The Dutch used the long belt loop on the early M11 holsters in the early 1930's.  Switching to the short belt loop which is held off the holster approximately 3/8 of an inch to accommodate the thickness of the Sam Brown belt.  This is the same holster as pictured in page 202 of The Dutch Luger, by MARTENS and de VRIES.
