This is a 32 round Type II (Second Issue) Trommel magazine in excellent condition. The Artillery Luger was issued with a stock and designed as a carbine for the crews of artillery and machine guns that were front line pieces in WWI. There is a lot of discussion about whether these were issued in leather or canvas carrying cases or if there was a case at all. I have seen pictures of boxes containing the trammel magazine but until more proof is offered this will be antidotal. (AC155)

Magnified close-ups show us tool marks and natural surface conditions that one normally doesn't see in the ordinary handling of the weapon. The difference between the Type I and Type II are the handles. The Type I has a round telescoping handle. The type II has the hinged handle, (as above) This is offered for $2,850.00 plus shipping and insurance. While these will fit on any Luger significantly increasing it's deadliness they were only issued for the Artillery (150mm) barreled sidearm. No license required to purchase.
